Created by Little Workshop using a combination of WebGL and WebVR, TRACK is an experience optimised for, but not exclusive to, virtual reality. Utilising a dynamic backing track – ‘Implant’ by Makeup and Vanity Set, the visuals are randomised, transforming to match the beat and rhythm of the music.
Discovered via my daily use of WeTransfer, a Vimeo advert directed me to this great little animation studio, Fern, based in Atlanta. Depicting a lone traveller cleverly exploring the world through the medium of a torch, this short is both beautiful and intriguing. With soft visuals and a tranquil backing tune the mind escapes as you tag along for the adventure.
As you may have guessed by now I am a fan of all things Japanese, be that the food, culture or video games. Thus when I came across this brilliant website allowing you to create your own samurai avatar I leapt at the chance, after all, who wouldn’t want to see themselves adorning the eponymous warrior’s garb?
