It Takes Two

With my girlfriend finally moving over to the UK a couple of weeks ago, we fired up It Takes Two on the Switch by Hazelight Studios. Now I had heard big things about how good this game was, including a prestigious Game of the Year Award at both The Game Awards and D.I.C.E. Awards, so it had a lot to live up to. Reviews were mixed over the Switch port, but nonetheless we were excited to dive in.

Unravel Two

After eyeing the game up for years, during a recent eShop sale I finally picked up Unravel Two, not being able to resist its incredible discount of 80%. Playable solo for sure, it is a game that has clearly been built around co-op and with my sister now owning a Switch herself, it seemed an ideal game for us to play together, even if we only see eachother now once a month or so.

Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond

This week The FWA announced their FWA of the Year 2020, and corresponding People’s Choice Award. Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond claimed both awards for 2020 and so, despite skipping over it at first glance when initially awarded, I decided to take a look. The World Wars have never been an area of interest for me historically which perhaps led to my initial adversion, however I am glad I was given a second chance to explore this artistic realisation.
